چکیده

Abstract Beneficial effects of Bifidobacterium spp. on gut microbiota development and infant health have been reported earlier. Therefore, supplementation formulas with probiotic bifidobacteria, as well prebiotics stimulating bifidobacterial growth, has proposed. Here, we studied the faecal microbiome infants supplemented specialized nutrition, which some received a standard amino acid-based formula (AAF) others an AAF specific mixture (synbiotics) using metaproteomics 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Faecal samples were taken at baseline, after 6 12 months fed formula. The aim was to compare microbial differences between treated those who additional synbiotics. Our findings show that synbiotics significantly higher levels Bifidobacteriaceae DNA increased Coriobacteriaceae proteins, over time. Moreover, visit carbohydrate-active enzymes, known metabolize oligosaccharides, observed in synbiotic group compared non-synbiotic group. results indicate provided our study are trackable protein level during intervention period.

Probiotic Bifidobacterium longum alters gut luminal metabolism through modification of the gut microbial community

Probiotics are well known as health-promoting agents that modulate intestinal microbiota. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying this effect remain unclear. Using gnotobiotic mice harboring 15 strains of predominant human gut-derived microbiota (HGM), we investigated the effects of Bifidobacterium longum BB536 (BB536-HGM) supplementation on the gut luminal metabolism. Nuclear magnetic res...

Anti-inflammatory metabolite production in the gut from the consumption of probiotic yogurt containing Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis LKM512.

There is little evidence for a relationship between probiotic metabolites and host cytokine production. We investigated in the present study the possibility that anti-inflammatory metabolites can be produced in the gut by LKM512 yogurt consumption by using murine macrophage-like J774.1 cells and extracts prepared from the feces of elderly volunteers. These volunteers' acute inflammation had bee...

Molecular identification and phylogenetic analysis of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium spp. isolated from gut of honeybees (Apis mellifera) from West Azerbaijan, Iran

Polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) and phylogenetic analysis were used for molecular identification of lactic acid bacteria (LABs) isolated from Apis mellifera. Eighteen honeybee workers were collected from three different apiaries in West Azerbaijan. LABs from the gut of honeybees were isolated and cultured using routine biochemical proce...
